1. Food Network Magazine

How did I not know of this magazine before?? It’s packed full of mouth-watering recipes, food info, beautiful photography, and one of my favorite things – a well laid out index. In the front of the magazine, every recipe is categorized by appetizer, entree, etc, and has a small picture of the recipe!

2. Desert Essence Organic Fragrance-Free Shampoo, Conditioner, and Lotion

Finally! An organic shampoo with no parabens, no sodium laurel/laureth sulfates, no phthalates, no artificial fragrances or colors, no silicones, no EDTA, no glycols and no petroleum based ingredients (also happens to be vegan and gluten free). And best of all, it WORKS and it LATHERS. It’s like a miracle. The conditioner is good but not as deep-conditioning as I’d hoped, and I love the lotion. I’ll be sticking with these for awhile.

3. Healthy, pretty, tasty breakfasts!

A hot cup of coffee in my gorgeous Anthropologie mug, along with something happy and guilt-free for breakfast, really makes a great start to the day.

4. The splash park!

It’s free, it’s shady, it’s only a few blocks from my house, and it’s fun!

5. Watching Oliver’s face light up around his daddy

Oliver get’s so melancholy when Matthew is out working and he hasn’t seen him for awhile. As soon as he hears him walk in the door, it’s like his ears perk up and he starts kicking his legs like crazy. You know, kind of like a dog. But it’s cuter in a baby 🙂
