Yes, another beach scene. I love taking photos on the beach without really looking and then pouring over each individual face once I get home. You find things like kids building sand castles, a dad holding his little girls hand as they run back to the shade of their umbrella, and a lifeguard looking bored out of his mind with a towel draped over his head.
I wanted this to feel like an old faded painting…I think I got it fairly close to what I pictured.
Taken at New Smyrna Beach, FL – April 12, 2008.
I kept forgetting to comment about this..I heard Chris pulled you guys over a while ago! That’s funny, I think you really confused him when you knew who he was. Just thought I’d let your readers know you got pulled over. hehe. we will be moving sometime around the end of feb or very early march…I know we keep saying this but……we’ll have to get together! 😀
Yes, we are craaaaazy cats on the road!Actually, it was a broken tail light (that must have JUST happened because we checked it the previous week before a road trip). We live life on the edge. And yes, he did seem VERY confused when I recognized him. He had absolutely no clue who I was though. He thought we worked together. Let him know us law abiding citizens have fixed it up – and yes, let’s get together for real!P.S. I actually texted you about it RIGHT after it happened as we were driving home. I guess it didn’t go through?
Your photo looks exactly like a painting. My brother has a painting very similar!
