This morning we finally went to the naked man museum. That’s not it’s real name, of course, but that’s what we’ve called it since we were little and all we saw was the naked man statue standing in front of the building
It’s actually The Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens, and despite living here my whole life, today was the very first time we visited the museum. It wasn’t anything spectacular, and I’m not thrilled with the photos, but it was fun going out in the morning with Matthew and my parents for a little exploring.
The statue below was created late in the artists life after being paralyzed on his left side. In order to finish this piece, he would hold the chisel and his wife would pound the hammer.
